If you have ever wondered what it is like to live in Italy, renting an Italian villa gives a taste of the Italian lifestyle you can’t experience in any hotel room. “Villa rental” is a blanket term that includes all kinds of housing, from apartments to palaces. Inspired in part by recent popular movies and books (Under The Tuscan Sun, for example), more and more travelers are slowing down and setting up house, albeit temporarily, in Italy. Large groups of friends and family find it less expensive to rent rather than book rooms at a hotel. Even couples can save money with a small Italian rental.
