Florence Marathon

Join over 6,000 athletes (or just cheer them on from the sidelines) at 9 a.m. in Piazzale Michelangelo as they run a marathon through the streets of Florence, passing through the Ponte alla Vittoria, Piazza Poggi, Piazza della Repubblica, and ending at Piazza Sante Croce. Florence hosts both men’s and women’s events, as well as a mini-run (called the Ginky Run) for children.
