Media Coverage of Dream of Italy

The award-winning travel magazine and website Dream of Italy was founded in 2002 by Italian travel expert Kathy McCabe. The television series Dream of Italy premiered on public television in 2015. Both Season 1 and Season 2 and Dream of Italy: Tuscan Sun Special , Dream of Italy: Travel, Transform and Thrive, a special featuring Sting & Trudie Styler, Francis Ford Coppola, Frances Mayes, David Bach and other expats who have found a happier, healthier life in Italy, are ALL currently airing and repeating on PBS, Passport streaming and CreateTV.

Season 3 of Dream of Italy with Andrea Bocelli, Marisa Tomei and Massimo Bottura premiered on PBS stations in December 2023 and will continue airing with a debut on Create TV in March 2024. The first season of McCabe new PBS series Dream of Europe will begin airing in January 2025.  The Dream of Italy Podcast premiered in 2019 and was named as “13 Podcasts For Wandering Souls” by The New York Times in 2020. Kathy was profiled in The New York Times in 2015.
