The Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics will unfold in February 2026 across Italy’s most spectacular landscapes, creating the most geographically widespread Winter Games in history. Opening at Milano’s iconic San Siro Olympic Stadium, competitions will span the city’s venues—Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena, Milano Ice Skating Arena and Milano Ice Park—before moving to Cortina d’Ampezzo’s legendary sites: Tofane Alpine Skiing Centre, Cortina Sliding Centre and Cortina Curling Olympic Stadium. The Games will showcase the Anterselva Biathlon Arena in the South Tyrolean Alps, Bormio’s world-famous Stelvio Ski Centre, Livigno’s Snow Park and Aerials & Moguls Park, plus Val di Fiemme’s Predazzo Ski Jumping Stadium and Tesero Cross-Country Skiing Stadium, culminating with closing ceremonies at the ancient Verona Arena.
