La Morra (Piedmont): Mangialonga

Mangialonga is a 4km-long walk dedicated to the food of La Morra such as the fresh pasta dish tajarin al ragù, vitello al Barolo (veal bites braised in Barolo wine) with polenta, cheese platter from Cuneo, and last but not least the dessert, a delicious torta di nocciole from the renowned bakery Giovanni Cogno. Participants will meander through the town’s villages and hills, making a total of five stops along the way where they can drink wine and eat one course at each location.  The event opens with an aperitivo featuring typical products from the Langhe area in Piedmont. The walks depart every 15 minutes between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
