On a recent visit to Florence, my mother and I faced a challenge many travelers encounter. We wanted to visit the Chianti area of Tuscany but only had a day. This part of Tuscany isn't easy to explore via public transportation especially if you want to visit some of the world-famous vineyards. Yet, we didn't want the hassle of renting a car for day.
