So I started Dream of Italy 23 years ago (whoa!) and for a long time I thought I was in the content business or travel business but at soon realized I am in the dream business. Italy is something so many of us long for, an aspiration, a touchstone, a connection to the past and a desire for the future. Just like our dreams are. Along the way I became so interested in the courage and the practical know-how it takes to make our dreams come true.
I started a new Substack called Kathy McCabe Dreams…At Midlife to take my work a step further and opening it up to all kinds of dreams, not just “of Italy” and how we honor our dreams from a unique vantage point in life, middle age.
My first Substack post explores my back story of how fulfilling my grandfather’s long-held dream gave birth to my own BIG dream of Italy and reveals a powerful exercise on how to hone in on your own dreams and desires.
