Italy is hot for this summer – this spring and fall too! As I told The Washington Post recently, “My friends who are travel planners and travel agents say they cannot book trips for this summer fast enough.”
Do as I say and NOT as I do, because I haven’t made my reservations yet, plan and book your trip now. If you need help, I can refer you through our travel service. [Please note, as of right now, we only book full trips though will be expanding to individual services.]
Also, Italy travel entry rules are changing. Testing has been dropped for vaccinated travelers. Italian health minister Roberto Speranza announced , “From 1 March, for arrivals from all non-European countries, the same rules already in place for European countries will be in force. For entry into Italy, one of the conditions of the Green Pass will be sufficient: vaccination certificate, recovery certificate OR negative test.” This doesn’t change the requirements for entering restaurants and museums but that may be modified soon. — Kathy McCabe
