Venetian Daniele Vallot and his American expat wife Brittany Hymore have restored a 15th-century palazzo as both a family home and a B&B on the Grand Canal. The light-filled dining room of Cima Rosa (Santa Croce, 1958), overlooks the city’s main waterway, and the rooms are decorated in an airy, modern style with pale walls and wooden beams.
