The Allure of the Town of Amalfi Italy

Pulling into the seaside town of
Amalfi as the early evening sun
finally broke through the clouds,
I felt like I was back at
the Jersey Shore of my
childhood — and for all
those who want to mock
New Jersey, I mean that
in a good way — the
streets were filled with
the energy of families on
a Saturday night stroll,
sitting on the benches at
the waterfront and perusing the
numerous bottles of limoncello and
ceramic tchochkes for sale in front of
the small shops.
