SUMMARY:Tarquinia (Lazio): Giostra delle Contrade
DESCRIPTION:The coastal town of Tarquinia hosts its annual Giostra delle Contrade\, reenacting the knighting of three noble men\, Cornetani Sante\, Alessandro Vitelleschi\, and Piergiovanni Paolo Sacchi\, in 1452. Tarquinia celebrates the event with equestrian games\, banquets\, knights and dancing.
