An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on day first of August, repeating indefinitely
The first Sunday of August, Sardinia hosts a peculiar competition on the Santa Giusta pond. Participants race to the finish line while standing on ancient, Phoenician style boats. The boats are made of cane wrappings, which grows in abundance along the shores of the lake. The race takes place at sunset and is accompanied by a local food and wine festival.
