Citta di Castello (Umbria): Christmas in Canoes

Citta di Castello‘s canoe club outfits their canoes with Christmas lights, and each canoeist dresses up like Santa Claus on the evening of Christmas Day. The canoes float down the Tiber River towards a bridge, where a small crib is suspended over the water. As they disembark from their canoes, the canoeists hand out candy to waiting children.
