Italian Wine & Movie Nights in Denver

If you’re in or near Denver this July and can’t make it to Italy for your Italian fix, head to Balistreri Vineyards for one of their two Wine & Movie Nights the weekend of July 19th and 20th. This is the first year Balistreri is doing two of these nights because one just wasn’t enough last year! The evenings are sponsored by Balistreri and tour company Dream Italia. I’ll be there both nights representing Dream of Italy and giving away a handful of subscriptions to local audience members. This is my favorite summer event in Denver and I can’t wait…

The evenings include a special Movie Menu developed by Top Chef Hosea Rosenberg featuring wood-fired pizza, grilled chicken caesar salad, porchetta sliders with fresh fennel slaw as well as custom gelato made with Balistreri’s own wines. The feast is followed by one of two movies, shown on the lawn of Balistreri’s lovely events center — the lawn is

covered with a tent so the movies go on, rain or shine…

On Friday, July 19th, the featured wine flick is A Very Good Year starring Russell Crowe and on Saturday, July 20th the Italian-themed movie is Letters to Juliet. And what better way to watch than munching on parmesan or truffle-flavored popcorn while sipping some of Balistreri’s vintages.

Get your tickets for the evening here ($49 per person including a glass of wine, plenty of food and the movie showing) and we will see you at the vineyard!
